Easy Web Design Tips
Posted on Mar.20, 2009, under Web Design No Comments
Pick an easy layout; easy to design and easy to maintain. I
have wasted many hours trying to design a site that was easily
three steps above my skill level. This was a complete waste of
time and I promised myself that I wont make the same mistake
again. If you are a beginner, find a good web hosting company,
get your domain name, pick a decent template and get started.
Youre not a designer so dont spend all of your time on web
design.

Imagine; you spend thousands of dollars designing your website
and no one comes. Why? It could be that you forgot about the
content or you didn’t invest enough in the message. Good website
content delivers the right message in the right way.
Tip #1 -The most important rule to remember is that writing for
the web is not like writing for print. Tip #2 – Brochures
contain a tremendous amount of information in a small amount of
space. You can’t successfully post the wording from a brochure

money I needed to start an online business, and not too much

How to Make a Web Page

In brief, this is how to make a website:
1) Select a domain name. Visit http://www.nameboy.com/ to find out if your name is available, and what other options exist.
2) You need to purchase the domain name. Probably the easiest way to do this is to go to a web host like http://www.ipowerweb.com/ or
http://www.hostrocket.com/ or http://www.hostsave.com/ where you can
purchase the domain name and web hosting space bundled together as a
package.
3) When your domain name and hosting account are setup, [...]

Let’s review the facts:

Posted on Dec.05, 2008, under Web Design No Comments
Anybody interested in creating RealAudio and RealVideo content
on their sites will find it’s a great deal easier than they
might have initially imagined.
The instructions given below are for RealAudio on a Windows
95/98 computer, but the process is almost identical for
RealVideo and other platforms. I tentatively suggest you print
out this tutorial for easier reading, by copying the text and
pasting it into Wordpad or Word then printing it out. Or if, you
prefer, you can download the text as a zipped document from
here. [...]

With the wealth of free web hosting offers it’s sometimes hard
to decide which provider fits you. This article is meant to
underline a few aspects you should keep in mind when choosing
such a service.
1. The reliability of the service and their offers.

good to be true usually won’t last for too long. Let’s take the
example of one host (I won’t give names here) that went offline
only a few weeks ago. [...]
